Responsibilities
Oversee daily cash flow, manage bank relationships, and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs and debt obligations. This involves maintaining 24/7 liquidity visibility through API-linked banking systems
Prepare wire and ACH payments
Ensure all treasury transactions are accurately recorded in the financial system
Preparation of bank reconciliations
Preparation of checks and reconciliation of voided and outstanding checks
Identify and mitigate risks related to interest rates, foreign exchange (FX), and credit
Prepare annual budgets, monitor expenditures against targets, and provide short-term and long-range financial forecasts to support strategic decisions
Direct the investment of surplus funds to maximize returns while maintaining required liquidity levels
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax codes, and internal policies. Prepare detailed financial reports for the board of directors and senior leadership
Act as a 'right arm' to the VP of Finance, providing insights on capital structure, financing alternatives, and the financial implications of corporate strategy
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
Senior corporate roles typically require 10+ years of professional experience in finance or treasury-related functions
This role requires authorization to work in the United States
Preferred
The Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is highly preferred
Other relevant credentials include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
