Responsibilities
Design and implement core protocol contracts and token distribution mechanisms
Drive protocol research, prototyping, and architecture decisions
Optimize gas efficiency and security for high-volume systems
Lead contract audits and establish security best practices
Conduct research in areas like cross-chain bridging, token economics, and scalability
Qualification
Required
5+ years production smart contract development
Expert-level Solidity with proven security practices
Shipped contracts to mainnet managing significant TVL ($10M+)
Deep DeFi knowledge: staking mechanisms, MEV protection, oracle security
Experience with invariant testing and formal verification
Led contracts through professional audits (Trail of Bits, OpenZeppelin, etc.)
Strong track record mentoring engineers and conducting thorough code reviews
Multi-chain deployment experience (Ethereum L2s, alt-L1s)
Preferred
Experience with Vaults, Lending protocols, and yield generation
Tokenomics design for live projects
Experience with account abstraction or smart wallets
Background in cross-chain messaging protocols (LayerZero, Wormhole, Hyperlane)
Contributions to DeFi protocols or infrastructure projects
Experience with off-chain backend services or frontend development
