Responsibilities
Design and implement network observability pipelines using streaming telemetry (not SNMP-only polling)
Build machine-readable network signals to support automated decision-making
Correlate routing, latency, packet loss, and application experience
Define intent-based KPIs for healthcare systems (EHR uptime, clinical latency thresholds)
Integrate network telemetry with observability platforms and automation workflows
Support change validation and post-change verification
Ensure observability aligns with HIPAA, NIST, and healthcare compliance standards
Qualification
Required
Strong network engineering background (Routing, Switching, Firewalls)
Streaming telemetry (gNMI, NETCONF, OpenConfig, YANG)
Network data pipelines (Kafka, telemetry collectors, time-series data)
Observability platforms (Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, etc.)
Python for data processing or automation
Experience in healthcare or regulated enterprise environments
