Responsibilities
Dismantling and detailed inspecting AC and DC Electric motors, through 15,000HP and 13,800v
Assembly and Testing of AC and DC Electric motors
Test and check Electric motors using:
+ Meggers
+ Low OHM Meters
+ Micrometers
+ AC/DC Test Panels
+ Hi-Potential (HiPot) Tester
+ Surge Comparison Tester
+ Bar to Bar Tester
Document and record all readings/measurements in tablet-based job packets
Adhere to all Customer requirements and specifications
This position reports to the Mechanic Team Leader
Qualification
Required
Dismantling and detailed inspecting AC and DC Electric motors, through 15,000HP and 13,800v
Assembly and Testing of AC and DC Electric motors
Test and check Electric motors using: Meggers, Low OHM Meters, Micrometers, AC/DC Test Panels, Hi-Potential (HiPot) Tester, Surge Comparison Tester, Bar to Bar Tester
Document and record all readings/measurements in tablet-based job packets
Adhere to all Customer requirements and specifications
