As a Solutions Engineer, you will partner across various teams to design solutions that are product-first, compliant, and scalable, translating complex requirements into clear solution designs.

Responsibilities
Lead structured discovery for complex use cases across the customer lifecycle and internal operations
Design recommended solution approaches with clear tradeoffs, constraints, risks, and dependencies
Validate feasibility with Product and Engineering and drive alignment across stakeholders
Default to scalable approaches aligned to product capabilities, roadmap, and architecture
Identify risks early (compliance, operational impact, supportability) and propose mitigation plans
Provide structured pushback on non-scalable requests and propose viable alternatives
Document solution designs as reusable templates, patterns, and reference materials
Contribute to playbooks, checklists, and enablement for Sales, Implementation, CX, and Operations
Help define “what’s supported” vs. “what requires escalation,” improving consistency and reducing repeat escalations
Translate field requirements into clear, high-quality product inputs (gaps, parity needs, workflow improvements, integration needs)
Quantify impact where possible (revenue, risk, operational effort, customer experience)
Design solutions that ensure requirements are well-defined and actionable for PMs
Maintain and develop working knowledge across Global Employer of Record (EoR), Global Payroll, Global Contractor of Record (CoR), Global HR/Payroll systems, and Global HR value-added services
Contribute to strategic initiatives such as productizing strategic countries, improving onboarding experiences, scaling COR/freelancer workflows, and enabling partner/embedded models
Qualification
Required
Experience in designing and validating scalable solutions for complex needs
Ability to lead structured discovery for complex use cases across the customer lifecycle and internal operations
Experience in designing recommended solution approaches with clear tradeoffs, constraints, risks, and dependencies
Ability to validate feasibility with Product and Engineering and drive alignment across stakeholders
Experience in ensuring solutions are product-first and operationally runnable
Ability to identify risks early (compliance, operational impact, supportability) and propose mitigation plans
Experience in providing structured pushback on non-scalable requests and proposing viable alternatives
Ability to create reusable solution assets and enablement
Experience in documenting solution designs as reusable templates, patterns, and reference materials
Ability to contribute to playbooks, checklists, and enablement for Sales, Implementation, CX, and Operations
Experience in defining 'what's supported' vs. 'what requires escalation,' improving consistency and reducing repeat escalations
Ability to provide structured inputs into product planning
