Responsibilities
Provide technical systems support within a technology organization
Support complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases, and other technical products and services
Use diagnostic tools to maintain, troubleshoot, and restore service or data to systems
Evaluate service level agreement criteria and identify gaps in current technology processes
Participate in migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations, and configurations
Write queries to extract data and validate data loads
Complete project sizing and update/write documentation and procedures
Assist with related training and troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues
Participate in writing test scripts and maintain change or issue logs
Analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements
Qualification
Required
5 years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
Strong working knowledge of Linux, Tomcat, and other middleware
Excellent troubleshooting acumen
Understanding of quality, security, and compliance requirements for supported areas, including reviewing changes for risk to production systems
Experience participating in testing and updating business continuation plans
Soft skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
