Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership over global accounting strategy, policies, and governance frameworks
Oversee enterprise financial close, consolidation, and external reporting across all entities
Ensure full compliance with US GAAP, SEC requirements, and public company disclosure standards
Serve as the primary authority on technical accounting matters, complex transactions, and judgment areas
Sponsor the use of blockchain technology to enhance the integrity, traceability, and immutability of accounting records and transaction data
Partner with Digital, IT, Audit, and Finance Transformation teams to integrate blockchain-enabled financial data into reporting, control, and audit processes
Maintain oversight of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and remediation programs
Lead engagement with external auditors, regulators, and Audit Committee stakeholders
Present accounting positions, risks, and financial insights to executive leadership and the Board
Develop and lead senior accounting, controllership, and financial reporting leadership teams
Qualification
Required
Candidates should have at least 25 years of professional development experience, including holding final decision-making responsibility in corporate organizations
Extensive executive-level experience in corporate accounting, controllership, or financial reporting
Deep expertise in US GAAP, SEC reporting, and public company governance
Proven ability to operate at scale within complex, multi-entity, multi-brand organizations
Demonstrated experience interfacing with Audit Committees, regulators, and external auditors
Strong executive presence and comfort operating as part of the CFO leadership team
Preferred
Exposure to enterprise data governance or digital initiatives, including blockchain-enabled audit or record-keeping platforms
Background in consumer goods, beverage alcohol, or other regulated industries
CPA or equivalent professional certification
