Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering drawings, delivery documents and supplier’s material certification and cross relate them to company standards

Monitors production quality on manufacturing floor to see a reduction in repetitive rejections

Responsible for maintenance of Customer Complaint Log and coordination of Non-conformance Corrective Actions

Reviews quality records for legibility, completeness, and accuracy to ensure compliance to requirements

Assist in analyzing and resolving issues with scrap and other manufacturing issues

Work with manufacturing when process changes occur to assure Quality requirements are maintained

Supports in-process, final process and product audits

Required

BS in Engineering with an emphasis in Quality Assurance, or related experience in Quality Assurance is required

High mechanical aptitude

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; be a team player; and have the ability to develop a team atmosphere. Must be able to communicate with all levels of staff

Good written and verbal skills

Multi-task abilities, organized, excellent time management skills

Able to work with minimal supervision

Working knowledge of ISO, validation (IQ, OQ, PQ), regulatory and quality standards
