Responsibilities
Take on capital project scopes of work including nuclear plant modifications/upgrades, equipment replacement, or facility upgrade related projects
Creating or revising long-term project plans, enhancing project estimates, managing project resources, and managing program related projects
Support a large team of 32 people under the Director of Nuclear Projects
Partner with the maintenance organization, engineering department, controls group, finance organization, senior leaders, internal supply department, and external vendors
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
5+ years of experience managing projects of at least $1 million
High level of knowledge of utility, power plant, and commercial nuclear power plant systems
Familiarity with Project Management Institute (PMI) - PMBOK Waterfall/Predictive project management techniques/processes
Previous experience with SAP, Unifier, UKG Workday, MS Project, and P6/Primavera
Preferred
ABET accredited Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Nuclear Engineering background
Construction experience
Finance background
Ex-Navy nuclear experience or previous utility/power plant experience if no commercial nuclear power experience is available
PMP certification
SRO certification or Operator license from a plant knowledge perspective
