LabVIEW Developer
Lockheed Martin is seeking a motivated early-career engineer to join their test engineering team. The role involves developing, maintaining, and executing automated test systems using LabVIEW software to validate product performance and quality.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and debug LabVIEW programs for automated testing of electronic assemblies and sensors
Create virtual instruments (VIs) for data acquisition, signal processing, instrument control, and test sequencing
Interface LabVIEW with test hardware including NI DAQ devices, PCI chassis, cRIO, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other measurement equipment
Assist in writing and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts to verify product requirements and specifications
Collect, analyze, and report test data; identify anomalies and support root-cause analysis
Maintain and upgrade existing LabVIEW-based test stations; document code and test setups for reproducibility
Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve test coverage and efficiency
Participate in troubleshooting hardware/software integration issues during test development and execution
Support transition of test solutions from prototype/R&D to production environments
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in electrical/hardware systems and software development
Ability to design, develop, and debug LabVIEW programs for automated testing of electronic assemblies and sensors
Ability to create virtual instruments (VIs) for data acquisition, signal processing, instrument control, and test sequencing
Ability to interface LabVIEW with test hardware including NI DAQ devices, PCI chassis, cRIO, oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and other measurement equipment
Ability to assist in writing and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts to verify product requirements and specifications
Ability to collect, analyze, and report test data; identify anomalies and support root-cause analysis

Strong background in Electrical Engineering
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from NI (or working toward it)
Exposure to NI TestStand
Exposure to NI Hardware Platforms (PXI, cDAQ, CompactRIO)
Experience with version control (e.g., Git, Perforce) or structured software development practices
Prior internship or project experience in automated testing, manufacturing test, or hardware-in-the-loop systems
