Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, build, and operation of an AI/deep‑learning model testing environment, including running evaluations and producing clear, data‑driven reports
Develop reusable MLOps/LLMOps components that accelerate data access and ETL/ELT workflows across multiple systems
Collaborate with enterprise AI and data science teams to leverage shared initiatives and emerging technologies for improved productivity
Build machine learning and deep learning models to address complex regulatory and operational questions
Scale, deploy, and maintain models, including integrating them into workflows supported by AI agents
Apply advanced data science principles, statistical techniques, and emerging research to support strategic business decisions
Design data mining methodologies and analytical frameworks for extracting insights from structured and unstructured datasets
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading across diverse systems for feature engineering
Develop reproducible, defensible predictive and optimization models using AI/ML methods
Partner on mathematical models and AI‑driven simulations to represent complex business scenarios
Write and document Python code for feature engineering and model development
Serve as a technical lead for model design, development, and review processes
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, compelling formats
Conduct peer reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with best practices
Partner with peers to capture best practices and insights from ongoing project work
Share expertise internally and externally, contributing to the organization’s AI thought leadership
Build and maintain strong relationships across teams to support collaborative problem‑solving and innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative field
6+ years of experience in data science (doctoral‑level candidates may qualify with no prior experience)
Preferred
Experience with platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Azure, Snowflake, or similar environments. Hands‑on experience in Foundry (ontologies, pipelines, modeling, integrations, app design) is highly valued
Strong understanding of model development standards, feature engineering, evaluation, and optimization best practices
Proficiency in data science programming languages, tools, and machine learning frameworks
Expertise in both theoretical and practical machine learning and statistical modeling
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, actionable terms
Deep understanding of the mathematical and statistical foundations of data science
Ability to structure complex problems, think systemically, and translate insights into decisions
Experience mentoring and developing data scientists in advanced AI/ML techniques
