Mid LevelRCAD Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer / BIM Modeler to support U.S.-based AEC and MEP projects. This role focuses on developing accurate, coordinated electrical designs and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD, aligned with U.S. codes and construction standards.
Information Technology & Services
Responsibilities
Develop electrical power and lighting layouts using Revit & AutoCAD
Create and manage electrical BIM models (LOD 300–400)
Prepare panel schedules, circuiting, and load calculations
Model lighting fixtures, receptacles, and equipment layouts
Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection
Support permit submissions and construction documentation
Revise drawings based on markups, RFIs, and field changes
Maintain project standards and QA/QC procedures
Qualification
Required
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong experience with Revit (Electrical / MEP)
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Solid understanding of U.S. building electrical systems
Familiarity with NEC and local AHJ requirements
Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively
Preferred
Experience with MEP BIM coordination & clash detection
Knowledge of IECC / energy compliance workflows
Experience supporting U.S. permit sets
Exposure to commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
