RICHARD HARO DRAFTING AND PLANNING, INC. is seeking a highly organized Part-Time Data Entry professional with bookkeeping skills to support their construction, design, and drafting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling data entry, and utilizing AI tools to enhance project organization and documentation.

Construction

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records for construction projects
Handle A/P and A/R, including subcontractor invoices and client payments
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Assist with job costing, budgets, and progress billing
Update QuickBooks entries, receipts, materials purchases, and reporting
Support financial clean-up and document organization
Enter and update project data, estimates, schedules, material lists, daily logs, and job notes
Prepare clean exports for estimates, reports, and scheduling tools
Help maintain organized digital files in Teams, OneDrive, and Houzz Pro
Upload drawings, documents, change orders, and client files
Keep documents aligned across Design, Drafting, Project Management, and Admin
Use Microsoft Copilot, Lovable, Claude Pro, and automation tools to:
Clean up documents
Organize workflows
Standardize data
Support automation and task routing
Assist with improving digital checklists, templates, and office systems
Printing, scanning, filing, uploading
Organizing project binders and digital folders
Supporting the drafting/design team with updates and documentation

Required

2+ years bookkeeping experience in a construction or design/build company (required)
2+ years data entry experience (required)
Experience using AI tools (Copilot, Lovable, Claude Pro, workflow automations)
Strong understanding of construction terminology & workflows
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook)
OneDrive (folder structure, digital organization)
QuickBooks Online (Bookkeeping)

Preferred

Houzz Pro, AutoDesk, AutoCad
Experience with drafting documents, construction notes, or scopes of work
Experience assisting designers or drafters
Basic understanding of AI-based document cleanup
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
