Creative Strategist - Direct Response
TMG.LA is seeking a Creative Strategist to lead the development of direct-response creative strategies for paid ads on Meta and TikTok. The role involves writing ad scripts, collaborating with designers, and analyzing performance to optimize creative output.
Responsibilities
Develop direct-response creative strategies for Meta & TikTok (static + video)
Write ad scripts, hooks, headlines, and on-screen copy that drive conversion
Research audiences, competitors, comments, reviews, and trends to find winning angles
Collaborate with video editors and graphic designers to bring concepts to life
Give clear creative direction and feedback to improve performance
Think in testing frameworks: iterations, variations, and scaling concepts
Analyze performance and adjust creative based on what’s actually working
Help build repeatable creative systems, not just single ads
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Creative Strategist in direct response
Strong understanding of Meta & TikTok ad formats and best practices
Excellent writing skills — especially short-form, hook-driven copy
Experience working with editors and designers to produce ads
Ability to translate data and insights into creative decisions
Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously
Clear communicator who can explain •why• creative should work
Preferred
Experience in DTC / eCommerce
Familiarity with performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, hook rate, hold rate, etc.)
Experience iterating creative at scale
