Responsibilities

Responsible for the analysis and maintenance of part planning parameters in line with the established materials strategy, inventory plan, and demand profile of the business
Responsible for conversion of demand signals into Work Orders in accordance with defined Planning systems and processes
Track & action material shortages and lead times to mitigate all risks to the production plan
Develop achievable & balanced production plans that align with Customer demands / schedules, through capacity analysis and collaboration with appropriate team members. Escalate impacts to plan or customer
Determine Engineering Order change effectiveness and impacts on schedules or obsolescence management
Participate in meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss individual piece part/program status, and support audits as needed for customer owned inventory
Responsible for WIP on planner code and maintain optimal levels for the value stream
Responsible for providing work center scheduling method/clear to build status
Facilitate the analysis, review & update of Planning Bill of Materials (PBOMs) in accordance with demand changes
Construct Line of Balance (LOBs). Communicate identified gaps and priorities. Monitors progress to completion
Maintain consistent production flow through order expediting, release & tracking of prove out work orders, and performing aging WIP reviews
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, within the functional Planning department as well as the Value Stream teams

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and minimum of 3 years Operations experience in a manufacturing environment
Good communication/organizational skills
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of complex regulations/procedures
Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks at any one time
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
