Sales Development Representative
LJUNGSTRÖM is a company focused on generating qualified sales pipelines in core industrial markets. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and supporting sales teams through effective outreach and data management.
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and structured outreach cadences
Execute outbound activity based on marketing campaigns, intent data, target account lists, and ICP criteria
Research target accounts, buying groups, and stakeholders to support effective outreach
Analyze marketing data to drive prioritization of outreach
Qualify inbound leads to assess fit, timing, and opportunity potential
Acquire outbound leads through a mean of multi-channel marketing
Schedule discovery meetings and introductory calls for Account Executives and Business Development teams
Apply consistent qualification standards to ensure pipeline quality
Maintain accurate lead status, activity logs, notes, and contact information in Salesforce CRM
Track outreach activity, responses, and conversion metrics
Support reporting and visibility into pipeline performance and follow-up effectiveness
Collaborate closely with marketing to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies
Participate in bi-weekly lead follow-up and pipeline review meetings with sales teams
Provide feedback on lead quality, objections, and market signals to improve campaigns and content
Consistently achieve weekly and monthly activity, meeting, and pipeline targets
Continuously refine outreach techniques, messaging, and prioritization based on performance data
Stay informed on LJUNGSTRÖM solutions, value propositions, and customer use cases
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent professional experience
1–2 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or similar role
Experience supporting B2B sales motions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with cold calling, outbound prospecting, and follow-up sequences
Experience working in a CRM environment (Salesforce)
Data-driven mindset with the ability to prioritize accounts and activities
Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
Ability to learn technical and industrial solutions quickly
Excellent in building trust and relationships
Qualification - B2B sales development processes and pipeline qualification
Cadence - familiarity with multi-touch outreach cadences across email, phone, and LinkedIn
CRM Discipline- working knowledge of CRM hygiene, reporting, and pipeline tracking
Discernment- naturally senses what leads are worth pursuing
Persistence with Poise- stays consistent and positive through follow up
Relationship Bridging - Enjoys managing handoffs and keeping the relationship or engagement flowing
Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video conferencing, and virtual collaboration tools
Preferred
Exposure to industrial, energy, manufacturing, or technical markets
Experience using sales intelligence tools such as ZoomInfo and/or Apollo.io
