Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of 8-10 embedded engineers
Driving architecture and design for robotics control firmware, power electronics and communication systems
Overseeing development from early prototypes through production and deployment
Partnering with product and leadership on technical planning and execution
Establishing engineering best practices around reliability, safety, and performance
Remaining technically engaged whilst enabling the team to do their best work
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics or related field
8+ years of experience in robotics, embedded systems, or control-centric environments
Proven experience leading engineering teams (typically 8-10 people)
Strong background in real-time control firmware and embedded systems
Experience with power electronics (motor drivers, power stages, power management)
Familiarity with wireless connectivity in embedded or robotic systems
Hands-on experience with prototyping, system bring-up and debugging
Comfortable leading teams that span hardware, firmware, and systems integration
