Responsibilities
Design and architect MES solutions aligned with ISA‑95/ISA‑88 standards, ensuring seamless integration across production, quality, traceability, OEE, and batch operations
Lead MES implementation and solution design across multi‑site manufacturing environments, including data modeling, system workflows, and scalability planning
Integrate MES with ERP, PLC/SCADA, historians, and plant‑floor systems using industrial protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, and Modbus
Develop and optimize MES interfaces using platforms such as GE Proficy Plant Apps, GE Historian, Kepware, ThingWorx, and .NET‑based extensions
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design data flows, and ensure accurate, reliable exchange of operational data
Support advanced manufacturing analytics by aligning MES data structures with predictive, quality, and performance optimization use cases
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Systems, or a related technical field
8–10+ years in MES architecture/solution design within Manufacturing IT (overall 12–15 years preferred)
Hands-on expertise with major MES and plant-floor technologies (e.g., GE Proficy Plant Apps, GE Historian, Kepware, ThingWorx, SQL Server/SSRS, .NET) and integration with ERP/PLCs/SCADA
Deep knowledge of ISA‑95/ISA‑88 standards and experience designing scalable, multi‑site MES architectures leveraging OT/IT integration and industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus)
