Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
Contribute to the transition to micro-services, designing APIs and event-driven architecture
Optimize database performance and data structures for high-traffic, real-time applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs
Mentor engineers, perform code-reviews and drive best practices in Golang
Qualification
Required
2+ years' of experience developing applications and their deployment mechanisms, including testing, scaling, and monitoring
Demonstrated proficiency writing maintainable, high quality, robust code. Go is preferred but we are open to Engineerings willing to cross-train from Java, C++ etc. backgrounds
Some familiarity with Infrastructure like Databases, API Layers, Load Balancers, etc
A critical eye, a curious nature, and a voracious appetite to learn
Preferred
Understanding of Agile or Kanban / Lean software development methodologies
Experience with AWS
Experience with infrastructure-as-code - terraform
Experience in apps using Kafka or other event stream/message broker platforms
