Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 on-call, as-needed disaster recovery support
Respond to system outages, cybersecurity incidents, and infrastructure failures
Travel to client sites on short notice to restore services
Lead recovery efforts including system restoration, failover, and validation
Support and troubleshoot VMware environments and Windows Server clusters
Configure and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs
Serve as the technical lead during system-down events
Perform hands-on server hardware repairs as needed
Communicate clearly with clients during high-pressure situations

Required

Availability is required 24/7 to respond to critical outages, emergencies, and recovery events
Provide 24/7 on-call, as-needed disaster recovery support
Respond to system outages, cybersecurity incidents, and infrastructure failures
Travel to client sites on short notice to restore services
Lead recovery efforts including system restoration, failover, and validation
Support and troubleshoot VMware environments and Windows Server clusters

Expert-level VMware ESXi and vCenter experience
Strong Windows Server (2016–2022), Active Directory, and Azure integration knowledge
Advanced networking experience including switching, routing, and firewalls
Experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, or Cisco firewalls
Hands-on server hardware troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools such as Veeam
Expert level knowledge of infrastructure, systems, or disaster recovery experience
Ability to remain on call 24/7 with flexible availability
Comfortable with unpredictable, variable hours and no guaranteed workload
Strong problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel on short notice
