Responsibilities
Perform acceptance and maintenance testing on electrical equipment per NETA standards
Operate various testing tools and equipment including megger, hipot, digital multimeter, multiamp relay tester, GFI, TTR, VLF, primary and secondary injection sets, etc
Generate and maintain written records and technical reports detailing all work performed in the field
Read and interpret electrical control schematics and diagrams
Perform extensive troubleshooting, testing, and problem identification
Maintain strict compliance with regulatory laws and ATS safety policies
Qualification
Required
NETA Level II Certification or above
Familiarity with NFPA70E Electrical Safety Standards
Knowledgeable in lockout/tagout and other applicable safety procedures
Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends, holidays, and nights
Possess a valid driver's license and have and be able to maintain a clean driving record
Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 100-pound test sets
Strong interpersonal skills: Candidate should be able to effectively and efficiently communicate with clients and coworkers
Computer literacy: Candidate should be competent in the use of relevant computer programs and functions
Independence: Candidate should be able to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
