Field Sales Manager
Wiley's Finest® is a company focused on science-driven supplements that impact human and environmental health. They are seeking a Field Sales Manager to manage broker partners and drive execution at the retail and field level, ensuring compliance with promotional programs and achieving sales objectives.
Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and drive broker partners in assigned regions to deliver against KPl's and sales goals
Develop broker business plans and hold brokers accountable to performance metrics
Conduct joint sales calls, market visits, and ride-alongs to monitor execution and coach brokers
Ensure brokers execute on product launches, promotions, and strategic priorities
Support and drive brokers in building relationships with store-level management and staff
Ensure execution of in-store promotions, merchandising, and new product placements
Conduct trainings, demos, and events alongside brokers to create brand advocates at retail
Monitor competitive activity in the field and report actionable insights
Deliver annual sales targets by holding brokers accountable for results
Drive distribution expansion, shelf placement, and promotional compliance at retail
Track performance data (velocity, promo lift, category trends) and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with the Account Manager to ensure field execution aligns with account objectives
Provide a rolling sales forecast and collaborate with Operations to ensure alignment on inventory, fulfillment, and demand planning
Partner with Marketing to execute field-level programs that support brand campaigns
Work to resolve service-level issues impacting brokers and accounts
Share field intelligence and broker performance updates with the Head of Global Sales
Represent Wiley's Finest at distributor shows, broker meetings, and industry trade shows
Actively lead, mentor, and motivate broker teams to deliver consistent field execution
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in field sales, broker management, or channel development
Experience coaching & mentoring broker teams to high performance
Strong understanding of Natural Products channels
Superb communication skills and contagious enthusiasm for natural supplements and/or Omega-3's
Ability to use storytelling to create brand ambassadors and loyal customers
Experience selling premium brands in the Natural channel
Proven experience managing key retailers, developing long-term relationships, and delivering on sales objectives
Excellent phone, written, and presentation skills
Personable attitude, and comfort in interacting with a wide variety of customers and/or vendors
Must be a self-starter, organized, and detail-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Must be able to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
Must display exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
Must display creative thinking and have a problem-solving aptitude
Growth mindset and focus on continuous improvement
A high comfort level with Microsoft Office, especially Excel is required
Ability to analyze and present sales data using tools such as SPINS, Nielsen, and/or CRISP
Able and willing to travel 30-40% to work in the field with broker teams, visit customers, and attend trade shows
Preferred
Experience working in a Natural Food or Health store retail environment
Experience with reporting tools (NetSuite, CRISP, KeHe Connect, UNFI Insights, SPINS, Floret deduction management)
Knowledge of Omega-3 products and health benefits
