Associate Director of Graduate Admissions
St. Bonaventure University is seeking an Associate Director of Graduate Admissions to support the Director in developing and executing comprehensive recruitment plans. The role involves managing recruitment events, overseeing application processes, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of the graduate admissions team.

Responsibilities
As the primary contact and lead administrator for the OTCAS and NursingCAS applications, responsibilities include the yearly set-up and monitoring of all communications sent from the WebAdMIT platform, annual updates for each application ensuring deadlines are met and updates are completed on time for each application’s launch, main point of contact with Liaison
Manage, monitor and coordinate all recruitment-related events and activities for the Dennis R. DePerro School of Health Professions and additional CAS application programs. Acts as lead admissions contact and works collaboratively with various directors and staff within the university
The lead for high level, technical processing of CAS applications on the WebAdMIT and Technolutions Slate platforms including knowledge of pre-requisites and requirements for each program, uploading documents, reviewing transcripts, completing GPA recalculations, assisting with applicant interviews as needed
Works closely with Graduate Director of Admissions and Graduate Marketing Specialist to facilitate requests for electronic, print, digital and social media communications as needed
Supports the Director of Graduate Admissions in the processing of prospects, applications, admits and deposits for all campus-based and online academic programs. Lead for programs within the Dennis R. DePerro School of Health Profession, additional CAS application programs, and other programs as needs arise
Works closely with graduate admissions operations and online-partners for app completion, acceptance decisions and letters, missing documents, and communication with students throughout the process
Act as an on-campus Athletic Liaison for graduate students as needed
Together with the Director of Graduate Admission and Graduate Marketing Specialist, works collaboratively across campus with program directors and Deans in planning, coordinating, and managing recruitment events and activities online and in-person
Vital part of event attendees overall experience and presence at on-campus events
Works closely with admissions Coordinator of Marketing and Communications and marketing department for event promotions and communications
Work closely with graduate team and program directors on Early Assurance Program (EAP) initiatives. Lead on developing EAP programming from incoming undergraduate to graduating senior and beyond. Establish annual schedule or events and continuously brainstorm and modify as needed
Conduct travel/recruitment on behalf of the University by attending college fairs and events throughout the year. Collaborate to create travel schedule. Build brand awareness and visibility to drive inquiries, applications and matriculation
Work with regional colleges creating articulation agreements
Additional admissions, recruitment and operational tasks as necessary
Represent the University and Graduate Admissions as needed on some evenings and weekend events
Qualification
Required
Master's degree strongly recommended
Minimum of five years of successful experience and increasing responsibility within an admissions/enrollment/higher education setting
Handle highly confidential material, understanding that all University information should only be disclosed to others who have a need to know, for legitimate business or educational reasons
Ability to exercise and apply sound judgment and decision-making skills as well as the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of data
Demonstrate commitment to academic programs of distinction serving graduate students
Actively engage in activities to ensure the success and retention of students
Lead and inspire both students and professional staff to create and maintain an engaged and vibrant university environment that promotes intercultural understanding, interaction and dialogue
Provide administrative leadership and analytical thought process to decision making
Successful interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration, operational improvements and the implementation of administrative best practices
Remain current, interpret and comply with all Federal, State, NCAA and University rules and regulations pertaining to recruitment compliance and other related business operations
Ability to balance priorities to accomplish assigned tasks within the required time frame
Ability to shift quickly between several tasks without loss of continuity
Ability to work effectively, decisively and flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to identify problems, propose feasible solutions and resolve complex problems independently
Ability to serve as an articulate spokesperson for the mission and values of the institution
Competence to compose and edit correspondence, proposals and reports that may require the ability to relay complex or adverse information with tact and diplomacy
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Self-motivation and the ability to stay current with emerging office technologies and recommend and implement improvements
Carry out all responsibilities and objectives in a professional manner
Ability to establish, nurture and maintain professional and effective working relationships with students, colleagues and members of the University community
Ability to accept and provide constructive criticism and effective supervision, assignment(s), change and correction in a professional manner
Adhere to the governing documents, policies and procedures established by St. Bonaventure University
Physically able to lift various materials up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
Physically able to remain seated, frequently to continuously while performing required job tasks
Physically able to remain standing up to 15% of the time while performing required job tasks
Possesses dexterity abilities required to operate a computer and other office equipment
Hold a valid driver's license, clean driving record and the ability to travel for the University
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
