SUPERVISORY RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (BRANCH CHIEF)

Responsibilities
Provides expert supervisory, technical, and administrative direction to a team of Analysts that are responsible for providing a variety of management services and guidance essential to the efficient and effective operations of USCIS
Provides program oversight and administrative direction of the operations of the Records Program
Serves as subject matter expert in a variety of functions related to Records and Information Management, management of information systems, data analysis and reporting, customer relations and process analysis
Formulates policy, performs strategic analysis and planning, conducts program outreach, coordinates training, develops metrics and ensures compliance with Federal laws, regulations and guidance and advises management on any issues
Uses broad data analysis to identify and resolve problems, investigate and determine innovative solutions to complex issues and prepares reports and/or presents recommendations
Qualification
Required
You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National to apply for this position
Successfully pass a Background Investigation including financial disclosure
You must pass a drug screening
You must submit resume and supporting documentation
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service
You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position
Providing technical and administrative supervision to a staff of analysts engaged in programs administering records management
Coordinating and directing records management activities and the accomplishment of difficult and diverse functions or issues related to records management
Ensuring compliance with the Federal Records Act and accompanying regulations
Establishing long-range work plans and determining the actions necessary to accomplish records program objectives
