Responsibilities
Serve as a DevOps Engineer on the Analytics Platform Engineering team, supporting Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying data pipelines and infrastructure (using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
Provision, manage, and automate Azure data services (Synapse, ADF, Data Lake, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure data platforms, including monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline performance and failures
Automate operational tasks and deployments using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
Enforce platform security by implementing IAM, data encryption, and compliance with data governance policies
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver robust technical solutions and foster DevOps culture
Utilize strong experience in Microsoft Azure (Synapse, ADF, ADLS, Azure Monitor) and DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Apply knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, data warehousing, and big data concepts
Implement monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred: Hold or be willing to obtain Microsoft Azure Data Engineer (DP-203) or Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400) certifications
