Project Manager, Portfolio and Business Operations (Temp)
Magnit Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives while establishing and operating robust portfolio management and business operations frameworks. The role requires strategic program leadership and the ability to drive ambiguous projects while maintaining strong operational rigor across the organization.

Responsibilities
Design and operate a comprehensive portfolio management framework to intake, prioritize, and track key projects and organizational priorities
Lead the development and delivery of complex, ambiguous initiatives where methodology, requirements, customer needs, and/or technical feasibility may not be fully defined
Influence and lead the definition, design, implementation, and delivery of the most advanced, cross-cutting, strategic projects across the organization
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies
Serve as a business operations partner, maintaining strong visibility and credibility within cross-functional teams
Design and own key operational mechanisms such as Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), governance frameworks, and communication protocols
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather requirements, obtain buy-in, resolve conflicts, and manage expectations
Communicate regularly with stakeholders—including clients, executives, and team members—to provide transparent updates on project status and proactively address issues
Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient project execution
Monitor project progress and make timely adjustments to scope, timeline, or resources as needed to ensure successful delivery
Implement robust project management methodologies and tools to track performance, identify and proactively mitigate risks, and optimize processes
Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to ensure project alignment with strategic goals and technical requirements
Maintain a keen focus on project quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of proven experience in project management, leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a Human Resources or corporate environment
Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, with a strong track record of on-time and on-budget delivery
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels
Proficient in project management software, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE 2)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively
Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while managing changing priorities
Preferred
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
Experience designing and implementing portfolio management or business operations frameworks
Background in chief of staff or strategic operations roles
