Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology
Preferred
At least 7+ years of overall design and development experience
At least 4+ years of working on data management domain with Big Data, Oracle, SQL or other database solutions
At least 3+ years of experience with Big Data & Analytics solutions – Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Spark, Storm, Akka, etc
At least 2+ years of experience with NoSQL - Cassandra/HBase/MongoDB, etc
At least 1+ years of experience in a customer facing/consulting role
Experience engaging customers in end to end deployment of scalable solutions
Previous experience building clean/optimized/scalable code
Previous use of Analytics tools: R/Jupyter/Matlab, etc
Hands on experience with at least one programming language: Java, Python, Scala, C, C++
Frameworks - Spring/Hibernate/Collection API/Generics/Threads/etc
Experience with cloud technologies – AWS or Azure
Visualization Tools: Tableau/Zepplin/etc
Solid hands on experience with data structures and algorithms
Understanding of market and technology trends
Analytical and problem solving skills
