This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Epic reporting and business intelligence solutions while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Epic reports and dashboards using: Cogito, Clarity, Caboodle, Radar Dashboards, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer
Build complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and custom metrics to support clinical, financial, and operational reporting
Develop reports that integrate Epic and non-Epic data sources to support enterprise analytics
Lead development of CMS, HEDIS, state, and other regulatory reports, including rapid delivery of multiple regulatory deliverables
Support compliance initiatives such as transplant reporting, quality measures, and performance tracking
Ensure data accuracy, validation, and audit readiness
Create reports and dashboards focused on: Patient flow and clinical cycle times, Provider wait times, Surgery, anesthesia, and appointment efficiency, Ambulatory operations, scheduling, and PB reporting
Partner with clinical and operational teams to translate business needs into actionable analytics
Administer and support Epic reporting environments including: Clarity and Caboodle consoles, ETL jobs and data pipelines, User security and report privileges, Install, configure, and maintain Epic reporting infrastructure as needed
Troubleshoot data model changes and reporting issues using Epic tools (e.g., Data Model Change Analyzer)
Work closely with clinical, financial, and leadership stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored reporting solutions
Lead reporting efforts during Epic implementations, go-lives, and transitions from legacy systems
Present findings in a clear, actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
Track work using enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow; Jira a plus)
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of hands-on experience with Epic Cogito and Epic reporting
Extensive experience with Epic Clarity (ADT, HB, Cadence)
Caboodle data model
Radar dashboards
Reporting Workbench (Writer & Admin)
Proven experience delivering CMS and regulatory reporting
Experience supporting large healthcare systems or Epic implementations
Advanced SQL / T-SQL
Strong data modeling and ETL understanding
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, SAP (or similar)
Epic Cogito Tools
Reporting Workbench Writer / Administrator
Clarity Data Models (ADT, HB, Cadence)
Radar Administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Highly collaborative, self-directed, and detail-oriented
Strong commitment to data quality and customer service
Preferred
Familiarity with Crystal Reports and Business Objects
Cogito Project Manager
Experience with ambulatory analytics and scheduling workflows
Prior involvement in Epic go-lives and system transitions
Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading reporting initiatives
Healthcare operations or clinical workflow knowledge
