Responsibilities

Manage client billing, invoicing, and collections, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition
Lead internal financial reporting, monthly closes, budgeting, forecasting, and approval processes
Oversee operational efficiency initiatives, including process improvements in expense management and firmwide workflows
Coordinate year-end financial statements prepared by external accountants and support tax preparation, filings, and R&D credit submissions
Manage U.S. logistics and compliance for international employees, including visa documentation and tax coordination
Oversee vendor payments, purchase orders, and all contractor engagements
Manage firm contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements, ensuring regulatory and confidentiality compliance
Serve as a trusted partner to leadership on strategic initiatives and long-term operational planning

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a strong public or private university
3–6 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operations, ideally at a small- to mid-sized professional services or boutique firm
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and taxation
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software; experience with internal financial systems a plus
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, discretion, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of broad responsibilities and grow into a senior operational leadership role
