Responsibilities
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis
Update software or enhance existing software capabilities using C/C++
Writing and maintaining functional/implementation specifications
Apply knowledge of computer science concepts and techniques, mathematics, and methods of statistical analysis to develop software to perform acoustic signal simulation
May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements
May maintain databases within an application area
Utilize tools such as Matlab, Python, GIT, and Visual Studio
Utilize Windows and Linux operating systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics and minimum 3 years of signal processing related experience
Knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop and sustain software that performs signal processing using C/C++ or working from Matlab prototypes
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux as development environments
Prior experience in developing and maintaining requirement documentation
Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing & Communications Concepts
FIR/IIR Filtering

Analog/Digital Communications (FM/FSK/GFSK)
FFT/Correlation Analysis
Software Defined Radios
MIMO
Intermediate knowledge of Matlab or equivalent tool
Candidate must be willing to gain and maintain an industry certification that's needed to apply for a Privileged Access Agreement with NAVAIR
An active DoD Secret Clearance is highly desired, but the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance is required
Must be a U. S. Citizen
