Responsibilities
Lead and develop teams across Procurement, Planning, and Materials Management
Drive supply chain strategy aligned to operational and customer delivery goals
Own supplier performance, cost reduction initiatives, and supply continuity
Manage supply chain activities from proposal through customer delivery
Oversee sourcing across:
Make-to-print components
Commercial off-the-shelf materials
Engineered and contract-manufactured assemblies
Support new product introduction and rapid R&D development cycles
Lead supplier selection, onboarding, and qualification processes
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements
Establish supplier scorecards, audit programs, and improvement initiatives
Drive accountability for quality, delivery, and cost performance
Ensure alignment to Master Production Schedule and forecast demand
Manage inventory strategy including safety stock optimization
Maintain inventory accuracy and cycle count integrity
Oversee MRP execution including new orders, expedites, push-outs, and cancellations
Manage material lifecycle including obsolescence tracking
Own supply chain budget planning and AOP input
Drive PPV and cost savings initiatives
Support make vs buy and total cost of ownership decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Engineering, or related field
10+ years progressive leadership experience in procurement and supply chain within design + manufacturing environments
Experience sourcing: Machined components, Sheet metal, Optics, PCBs, Box builds
Strong contract negotiation and supplier development experience
Experience supporting R&D or project-based procurement
Strong ERP/MRP experience (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
Advanced Excel and data-driven decision-making skills
Proven success managing contract manufacturers
Preferred
Experience in semiconductor, photonics, optics, or advanced electronics manufacturing
Exposure to laser or photonics-based product environments
Familiarity with: Failure analysis, CAPA, 8D methodology
Strong project management and cross-functional leadership experience
