Responsibilities
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment using various methods
Disassemble and clean equipment assemblies using parts washers, steamers, and other cleaning methods
Measure and requisition replacement parts and repair or replace worn or defective assemblies
Re-test equipment for proper operation and output
Operate specialized repair and testing equipment as needed
Observe safety procedures and use protective gear
Lift, tighten, adjust, and secure heavy objects
Maintain a clean work area and assist other mechanics or shop personnel
Perform skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by management
Qualification
Required
5 years of maintenance experience (Automotive or Diesel Mechanic experience works!) or 1 year of wind turbine tech experience
Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 V
Installation skills
Turbine motor service and troubleshooting
Simple welding and fabrication experience
Working on cars and motors with brake replacements is a plus
Possessing a CDL and driving a truck and trailer is a plus
