Lab Technician

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is hiring a Lab Technician for a paint manufacturing client in Brecksville, OH. The role involves performing laboratory tests, collecting data, and ensuring the proper operation of laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aids
Performs laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards
Collect data from test results and communicate discrepancies to management
Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition
Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments
Usual requirement is two years of post secondary education in field of specialty; however, some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined
Utilize appropriate safety methods, cleanliness, and maintenance of laboratory equipment
Demonstrated ability to interpret and convert customer needs into accurate technical specifications for product formulation

Required

Bachelors Degree in STEM
At least 2 years of lab work experience
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
Strong understanding of laboratory best practices and safety procedures
