Responsibilities

Receive training on & operate statewide computer aided dispatch (CAD) console with statewide high band and 800 MHz radio system (Multi-Agency Radio Communications System [MARCS]) and data network and facilitate law enforcement and administrative communication

Serve as point of contact in emergency situations (e.g., monitor law enforcement automated data system [LEADS] for incoming information, contact appropriate personnel, transmit emergency determinations, receive and transmit all messages)

Operate radio and/or related equipment (e.g., teletype communications [electronic messages, texts, etc.], multi-line telephone, LEADS) in order to make inquiries, send and receive electronic messages, provide documentation pertinent to law enforcement activities of ODNR

Receive, route and assist public and other agencies with requests for information on telephone; direct phone inquiries to proper ODNR division or make after hours contact with proper personnel
