Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries in a timely and accurate manner
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Support grant-related accounting and financial activities
Research, analyze, and resolve accounting errors or variances
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Use PeopleSoft and other financial systems for accounting tasks
Collaborate with internal teams and communicate findings effectively
Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
1+ years of accounting experience with: Journal entry preparation, Account reconciliations
Strong Excel skills, including Pivot tables, Lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP or similar)
Experience with PeopleSoft or comparable financial software
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to research issues and resolve errors independently
