Responsibilities
Determine the manpower and material requirements, means, and methods to accomplish work assignments and recommend changes
Prepare and paint surfaces and maintain cleanliness of work areas
Use tools and test equipment effectively
Maintain spare parts inventory and order parts as required
Coordinate with Maintenance supervision when locking and tagging systems
Observe safety standards and practices diligently
Observe and assist outside contractors for compliance with standards
Train new hires and transfers regarding proper maintenance and safety standards
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of experience with drive trains, including belts, pulleys, sprockets, and chains
Basic electrical skills including 110 single phase and 480 & 230 v 3 phase
Fabrication skills, including welding, grinding, and assembly
Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills
Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
Ability to work effectively with mechanical systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace
