Responsibilities
Active participation in RFP responses, including taking a lead role in developing presentations and leading client pitches
Supervise and participate in pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning
Create accurate and detailed project schedules and weekly field updates, incorporating owner milestone dates and providing input on schedule feasibility
Prepare schedules and proposed phasing plans to assist project management for budgeting and bidding
Manage multiple, large, and/or complex core/shell projects with a high level of QA/QC
Supervise internal field teams, trade partners, and owner vendors
Promote teamwork and open communication on-site with all stakeholders
Proactively resolve on-site challenges with minimal cost impact
Champion safety culture and OSHA standards with a goal of zero incidents
Coordinate plans and specifications with architects and engineers and maintain accurate document control
Mentor and develop Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents
Participate in intern and entry-level recruiting and mentoring programs
Support business development through networking and client relationship management
Develop and lead training sessions on industry best practices and leadership skills
Serve as a professional role model for team members
Qualification
Required
Pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning expertise
Ability to build robust project schedules and weekly look-ahead
Budget collaboration with project management
Management of large, complex tilt-wall and core/shell projects
Field coordination and documentation oversight
Strong safety leadership
Ability to foster teamwork and resolve issues proactively
Mentoring and training of field staff
Participation in client interviews and presentations
Strong work ethic with flexibility and team-first mindset
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
References and project list required
10+ years managing large commercial, industrial, distribution, or mission-critical projects
Demonstrated experience in tilt-wall and core/shell construction
Experience overseeing field operations including scheduling and subcontractor coordination
Strong construction trade and technical background
Proficiency with scheduling software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
