Responsibilities
Perform MIG and Flux-cored welding on metal components using both .116 and .332 wires
Read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings to ensure accurate job completion
Collaborate with production and engineering personnel to meet project specifications and quality standards
Maintain consistency with project specifications, material requirements, and quality standards
Operate in shop conditions with common welding hazards and uphold safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE
Work independently and manage time effectively
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in flux core and MIG welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Mechanical aptitude and skills in fitting and fabrication
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in tight or elevated spaces
Knowledge of welding shop hazards and safe operation of tools and equipment
Experience in steel fabrication or machining environments is preferred
