Responsibilities
Facilitate project status communication, including updates, blockers, and resource needs
Organize and facilitate sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives
Promote Agile best practices across the portfolio
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, IT Product Specialists, internal stakeholders, and vendors
Communicate project status to stakeholders and executive leadership
Plan and orchestrate all Agile planning events
Manage dependencies between Scrum teams, third parties, and release managers
Ensure successful delivery of large-scale and cross-functional initiatives
Facilitate resolution of project issues and development impediments
Report project progress to Program Management and executive stakeholders
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans
Define and communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations
Monitor milestones and proactively resolve schedule issues
Gather, define, and document project requirements
Independently plan work to meet scope, schedule, and quality goals
Define staffing needs and support formation of project teams
Act as team lead or coach for developing employees when required
Ensure teams have appropriate tools and training
Track risks, issues, changes, and status using standard project tools
Prepare project documentation for closure and audit readiness
Qualification
Required
BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of Agile and Hybrid project delivery
Experience managing moderately to highly complex IT projects
Experience working on NERC-regulated projects
Experience leading projects typically between mid to large-scale budgets
Working knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodology and incremental delivery
Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Knowledge of financial management for projects
Preferred
Experience working in a PMO environment
Experience managing monitoring and observability tool projects
Understanding of organizational business and IT strategy
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
