Human Resources Business Partner

Aperture LLC is a national portfolio of forensic consulting companies providing expert analysis. The Incident-Based HR Business Partner serves as the primary HR lead for employee relations incidents and partners with leadership to ensure compliance with policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute needed staffing plans
Support succession planning across the region
Execute performance management processes, including performance reviews
Oversee annual merit processes and promotions
Maintain Personnel Action Forms and Paycom profiles
Support change management initiatives tied to organizational growth
Create and support individual Development Plans
Manage onboarding processes and ensure successful 30/60/90-day check-ins
Identify trends in turnover, engagement, workload and recommend solutions
Partner with managers to address employee issues consistently and fairly
Support culture initiatives and employee engagement
Promote DISC strategy and Amplify participation
Assist in administration and follow-up of employee engagement surveys
Own worker’s compensation incident reaction, execution, and communication to corporate HR
Ensure adherence to ADA and EEO-1 regulations
Manage leaves of absence (LOAs) and safety requirements
Monitor regional P & L, including billable hours, revenue and expenses
Align HRBP goals with regional objectives

Required

Some college or equivalent experience is required
Excellent grammatical skills are required, and the ability to learn and operate communication software, and equipment
Computer Software: Intermediate use of programs include email, word processing, presentation, project management, database, spreadsheet, and other professional software
Business Communications Skills: Ability to proofread and correct complex documents. Communicate with clients and co-workers. Office etiquette. Document processing. Drafting internal and external communications. General data analysis
The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time
The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time
The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle
The ability to operate phones and computers
The ability to travel via airplanes as needed

Preferred

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional services firm, such as law or engineering consulting, is preferred
