Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases, including unit, functional, and end-to-end regression tests
Collaborate with the scrum team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables
Build scalable and maintainable automation test suites to support continuous integration and delivery
Perform requirement analysis, defect tracking, and test reporting
Oversee quality inspections and audit artifacts within the team
Debug, reproduce, and verify fixes for identified issues
Share expertise in software quality engineering and assist team members in upskilling
Contribute to QA automation strategy and promote best practices in software engineering and bug prevention
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering and Automation
Strong understanding of QE methodology and Software Development Lifecycle
Proficiency in SQL, database technologies, and data warehouse concepts
Experience with ETL/ELT development and BI reporting tools (PowerBI)
Familiarity with relational and dimensional data models
Hands-on experience with multiple database technologies; Snowflake preferred
Knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau, OBIEE (plus)
Experience with Data Lake and AWS cloud technologies
Programming experience (Java preferred)
Solid experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Behave, pandas)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems
Ability to work in an agile scrum environment
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred
Financial Services industry experience (preferred but not required)
