Marketing Development Manager, South Florida
Pleina Group, home to Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet and Urban Bonfire, is a leader in luxury outdoor kitchen design and manufacturing. They are seeking a dynamic and strategic Market Development Manager to grow their regional presence across dealer and professional partner networks in Southern Florida.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the specific market segment, aligning with organizational objectives
Lead and coordinate professional engagement activity with architects, builders, landscape professionals and designers, to enhance brand visibility
Utilize CRM software and data to communicate with the sales team and manage partner data, track engagement metrics, and optimize outreach efforts, building pipeline, visibility and forecasting
Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to foster loyalty and identify new opportunities to grow our sales revenue
Serve as the regional ambassador for Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet and Urban Bonfire to expand our presence, deepen relationships, and ensure specification on projects that will drive longer term, sustainable growth
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform support strategic planning for Sales, Marketing and Business Development Teams
Collaborate with sales teams to support lead generation efforts and ensure seamless communication between departments
Ensure Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet and/or Urban Bonfire are specified and/or purchased for relevant projects – via dealer or direct channels
Represent Pleina Group at regional and national trade shows, design events, and industry gatherings
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a Market Development Role, preferably within a similar industry or market segment to include luxury home projects, high end appliances, building materials, design-driven categories
Demonstrable proficiency with Netsuite, HubSpot or comparable CRM software is essential
Demonstrated ability to manage long-cycle, complex sales processes
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Ability and willingness to travel 50-75%, most of which is car based travel. Quarterly meeting events in Chicago, Montreal, or Galesburg MI
Preferred
Knowledge of outdoor products and design, appliances and materials is preferred
A proactive approach with a passion for innovation and creativity to grow market presence
