Toptal is seeking an experienced Mobile QA Engineer to join their team onsite. This individual will be responsible for hands-on testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience and validating SDK integration.

Responsibilities

Perform manual QA testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms
Validate SDK integration, features, and functionality against requirements and expected behavior
Translate product requirements and Figma designs into detailed test plans and test cases across platforms and form factors (phones, OS versions, screen sizes)
Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and regression suites
Conduct exploratory testing across a representative set of devices, OS versions, and environments
Document issues with clear reproduction steps, logs, and device/OS details
Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to triage and resolve defects

Required

MUST HAVE 5+ years of professional experience testing mobile applications
MUST HAVE 5+ years of experience with manual testing on both Android and iOS platforms
Proficiency in test planning, test case creation, execution, and bug reporting
Ability to create detailed test plans from product requirements and Figma designs
Ability to test across multiple devices, OS versions, and form factors
Experience testing APIs (REST/JSON) with tools such as Postman
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable working onsite with product and engineering teams
Background testing SDKs, APIs, or libraries embedded into mobile apps

Preferred

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile QA
Domain experience in identity and access management (IAM) on mobile
Experience testing NFC features on mobile devices
Experience with mobile test automation frameworks such as Appium, XCUITest, or Espresso
