Responsibilities
Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC
Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics
Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards
Check work to ensure error-free products
Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and submit to supervisor upon project completion
Maintain a neat, efficient, and safe workplace
Provide all tools necessary to perform the job function
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC
Proficiency in panel building, control panels, and panel wiring
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Experience in machine building and electrical assembly
Ability to mount components, drill, and tap
Ability to follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics
Capability to layout and mount components
Skill in wiring assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists
Occasional assistance in employee development and continuous improvement
