Relationship Manager

Nottingham & Associates is conducting a confidential search for a Wealth & Investment Management firm serving ultra-high-net-worth clients. The Relationship Manager will manage the day-to-day investment and financial planning needs of high-net-worth clients, working closely with senior advisors and investment professionals to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for client portfolios and financial plans
Lead preparation for client meetings, including presentation materials, performance reviews, and financial planning updates
Communicate clearly and proactively with clients to review strategies, coordinate implementation, and ensure timely follow-up on agreed-upon actions
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each client’s investment objectives, financial goals, and estate and tax considerations
Partner with the investment team to evaluate portfolios and recommend asset allocation, rebalancing, and investment solutions aligned with client objectives
Integrate financial planning insights with portfolio management to deliver holistic wealth management advice
Analyze investment performance, cash flows, and liquidity needs; prepare concise summary reports and recommendations
Support investment due diligence, manager analysis, and implementation efforts
Oversee the input, maintenance, and quality control of client data across CRM, portfolio accounting, and planning systems
Ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms such as Tamarac, eMoney, Bloomberg, and related tools
Track progress on client deliverables, documentation, and follow-up items to ensure timely and accurate completion
Partner with operations and compliance teams to maintain data integrity and adherence to firm policies

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or financial planning serving high-net-worth clients
Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and coordinate across investment, tax, and estate disciplines
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with experience using portfolio management and planning systems such as Tamarac, eMoney, Bloomberg, and CRM platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence leading meetings and engaging sophisticated clients
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative professional team

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
Advanced credential such as CFP®, CFA, CPA, or comparable designation
Experience within a multi-family office, RIA, or private wealth management environment
