Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for algorithmic trading and real-time trading applications
Analyze trading workflows and business processes within Equities and Global Securities Financing to identify opportunities for improvement
Develop detailed functional specifications, use cases, and process flows to guide development teams
Act as a liaison between business users, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment
Perform data analysis to support trading strategies and operational decision-making
Support testing, validation, and UAT of new features and enhancements
Provide ongoing user support and assist with training and adoption as needed
Qualification
Required
5-9 years of experience as a Business Analyst within financial services or capital markets
Strong knowledge of Equities and/or Global Securities Financing markets
Experience supporting algorithmic trading and real-time trading systems
Hands-on experience with trading platforms such as Fidessa, Bloomberg EMSX, ION, Horizon Trading Solutions, Dash Financial, or similar
Strong data analysis skills using SQL, Excel, and FIX messages
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
