Responsibilities
Supporting the CFO with annual budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly variance analysis
Ensuring GAAP-compliant revenue and expense recognition
Strengthening internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness
Overseeing fixed assets, capital planning, and cost management initiatives
Partnering with HR, Accounting, IT, and external CPAs to ensure tax and regulatory compliance
Supporting quarterly financial reporting, MD&A preparation, and performance metrics
Ensuring financial data accuracy across systems, including Salesforce
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and compliance
High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership
Preferred
CPA license, MBA, or Master's degree
Experience in construction or project-based environments
Proven experience with HR compliance and leadership
