Supply Chain Specialist II/III

Responsibilities
Performs multifaceted tasks and projects of moderate complexity requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
Supports procurement processes
Handles requisition traffic and procures quality materials/equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures
Coordinates communication between internal customers and vendors
Facilitates the resolution of disputes and claims
Supervises required inspections, expediting and logistics support
Analyzes and reports on market conditions and identifies competitive opportunities to initiate competitive bid process; coordinates and facilitates pre-competitive meetings and provides input to bid awards
Utilizes data insights and performance metrics to guide strategic supply chain decisions, optimize processes, and improve overall operational efficiency
Other duties as assigned
Coordinates bid package preparation with support of project/operations managers and key technical personnel with respect to supplier qualifications, soliciting and analyzing proposals and strategies for negotiation
Apply fundamental judgment and evaluation to support our procurement processes while building and maintaining internal customer and vendor relationships to meet business needs
Ensures execution of supply chain processes, including resolutions of disputes and claims
Qualification
Required
High School diploma/GED and a minimum two (2) years' experience for Supply Chain Specialist II
High School diploma/GED and a minimum four (4) years' experience for Supply Chain Specialist III
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Preferred
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field
Hands on experience with purchasing pipes, valves, fittings, instrumentation and electrical (I&E) materials, fabricated equipment, and other related commodities
Background in category management within the oil and gas industry
Proficiency using PowerApps/Power BI or similar platforms
