Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise storage and data protection technologies

Provide technical leadership across a distributed, virtualized infrastructure environment

Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new technology deployments

Maintain platform stability, availability, and performance

Coordinate and execute system maintenance, upgrades, and releases in alignment with change management processes

Evaluate new technologies, features, and products, providing recommendations based on performance, risk, and scalability

Develop operational metrics and reporting to support monitoring and capacity planning

Execute performance and statistical monitoring to improve reliability and operational efficiency

Embed risk and control considerations into day-to-day responsibilities, escalating issues as appropriate

Design platforms to prevent cascading failures across interconnected systems
