VT Group (VTG) is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to support the testing and validation of web-based software applications. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute test plans while performing both manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for web-based applications

Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks

Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution

Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation strategies

Required

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required

Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Intelligence, Geography, Remote Sensing, Intelligence Studies, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in software test engineering

2+ years of experience testing web-based applications

Experience writing scripts or using automated test frameworks to test software functionality

Experience creating and maintaining documented test plans and test procedures

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience working with IT or software development OR 8+ years of experience working with IT or software development in lieu of a degree

Preferred

Experience writing scripts or software

Experience developing tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium

Demonstrated ability to automate software testing processes

Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines and test integration
